Not good enough

The weather’s sunny and hot and Bath is bustling with tourists and others attending the University of Bath Open Days.

The recovery of our tourist business is fragile and we need to make a good impression to the world.

Seriously, rubbish bins like these – lining a path in front of one of our most famous architectural attractions – should be emptied first thing.

I took these photos at 9.15 am and had already passed several walking groups of overseas visitors.

What must they think!

  1. Agree wholeheartedly. The paving of the Main Street should also be sterilised & washed each morning early. All the seagull guano, bloodstains etc mopped away. The surfaces are revolting at present. Kind regards Jenny John
