Now we know

At one time Bath Abbey wanted to convert the old Bath Tourism Bureau into a refectory – but Footprint Project funds were needed elsewhere.

However, now we know what plans the council has for this derelict ‘blot’ on the Abbey Courtyard landscape. It’s a building they own.

A planning application has gone in to convert the upper floors into six residential units, with one more on the ground floor behind a ‘food and beverage unit.’

Maybe they can lease the proposed cafe out to the Abbey?
