Pic of the day. Tuesday, March 22nd

Some industrial architectural beauty today – courtesy of Rob Coles. He writes:

‘Driving along the Lower Bristol Road on Sunday I noticed how good Bayers building looked against a blue, cloudless sky.

Charles Bayer, a German emigre, built his Albion Stay factory in 1892, the first purpose-built corset factory in England.  Lit by electric light, which had first been “switched on” in Bath by the city’s own electricity company on 24th June 1890.’
