A flower blooming in the botanical gardens – just up the road from where we are staying on the island of Gran Canaria – off the coast of Africa.
It’s a much-needed and long-delayed break.

I took away one particular thing he said and that is – looking down from space – this Earth bears no boundary lines and no border posts.
Yet there are men who – for pride and possession – would seek to destroy it.
