He’s been in charge of immense changes and additional discoveries while managing the Roman Baths and Pump Room but now Stephen Clews is standing down after 32 years in the job.
He joined me this morning – beside the Great Bath – to look back on his career and l asked him why he’d chosen the end of this year to hand over the reins to someone new.
