Bath sport tends to revolve around rugby and football but did you know that Bath Archers is one of the oldest archery clubs in the country – dating from 1857.
They hold their longbow events at their Batheaston-based Avonmeads ground – that’s between Avon Rugby Club and the Toll Bridge.
Next month the club will be celebrating 50 years at the ground and will be holding its anniversary celebrations on November 6th.
