A loo with a view

Good to see one flower bed in Sydney Gardens still providing a sun-coloured display to lighten our September gloom.

This former Georgian pleasure park is currently undergoing a multi-million pound restoration which includes restoring the two redundant and Grade 2 listed Edwardian loos.

The GENTS is complete and the LADIES being re-erected under cover.

I noticed the newly installed etched glass windows in the sides of the former Gentlemen’s Convenience – specially designed so you can see inside.

It’s my understanding that both structures are going to be used for display purposes.
