Bath’s history and heritage were at the top of Tuesday’s agenda for the city’s newly-elected Mayor.
Cllr June Player was going to let a member of her Honorary Corps of Mayor’s Guides give her a tour of our World Heritage city and find out more about the people and places that make it so special.
It’s something that every new mayor looks forward to – exercise and knowledge – wrapped up with entertaining information which is available to everyone free of charge.
Tours can be booked on line but l heard you can take your chances by just turning up too. Look for the signpost by the Pump Room. Tours go out mornings and afternoons.
Other tours operate from Abbey Church Yard.
