Today – Jon Benington is one happy chap.
Not only is the Victoria Art Gallery – which he manages – open to the public once more but it’s back in business with a Kurt Jackson showstopper. It’s designed, obviously, to let us admire his talent and passion as a celebrated British artist but also to take home the message Kurt has emotionally painted into each and every canvas.
Armed with my new – and now working sound system – l took Jon out of the gallery so l was able to chat to him unmasked!
Meanwhile the gallery volunteers who are on duty to assist people coming in to view the show have their own little display of talent at the top of the stairs!
