Do the ‘monster’ walk

‘Be afraid, be very afraid … or at least be very interested,’ writes regular columnist Ralph Oswick, ‘ for Bath’s original walking tours which tell the story of how Mary Shelley came to forge her greatest creation right here in our dear city (who knew?) are back!’

NB. For those who don’t know, most of Mary’s spine-chilling novel Frankenstein was written here in Bath – and this is an opportunity to follow in her footsteps and learn more about her life.

Ralph continues:

‘Presented by our chums, the award-winning Show of Strength Theatre Company, these Covid-friendly tours are being produced as part of Bath Festival.

Subject to ongoing negotiations, this time round the walks aim to include an exclusive sneak preview of the unique Mary Shelley’s House of Frankenstein attraction which is opening in Bath later in the year.’
