Day 1 of the second national lockdown and l was exercising my right to exercise by walking up the hill to my regular pitch in St Mary’s Churchyard.
There’s good news and bad to share with you and a chat about everything from lighting up Bath’s Queen Square obelisk to clearing up after the fly tippers.
Hi Richard
Just watched your video chat from this morning. A tip for clearing up leaves:
Today, I raked/swept up leaves in my garden and then ‘mowed’ them with my rotary lawn mower. This broke them up and I bagged them in bin-liners to hide in a corner of the garden, out of sight. This is better done when they are wet; punch a few holes in the black bag and next year you will have some nutritious leaf mould for the garden!
I don’t entirely share your political views as you know but I fully agree with you about that conceited idiot in the White House who is making a mockery of democracy….how Putin, Xi and other tyrants must be enjoying it!
Keep safe, keep well.
