Should we be prepared for fireworks? On 5th November, Bath MP Wera Hobhouse will host her next virtual public meeting on the topic “Covid consequences for sport in Bath”. Her guest speakers will include:
Tarquin McDonald from Bath Rugby, Nick Blofeld from Bath City FC, Liam Johnson from Bath Racecourse and Caroline Searle from Team Bath.
Wera Hobhouse said: “Our sporting clubs and venues are focal points for our community. They and their fans bring such incredible vitality and value to our city, yet all have either been closed or operating behind closed doors during the pandemic. How are they surviving during these challenging times? How have they been keeping their athletes safe? What can they do for their fans? How can they map out a route to recovery?
“I will be asking all these questions to my guests, as well as asking questions from our live audience. Please join me for this important community conversation.”
