Bordering on amazing!

You don’t have to walk into the countryside to appreciate Nature at its best.

Claire Jackson – who is Chair of Bath in Bloom – points out a city park which deserves appreciation.

She writes:

‘I’m not sure if you think this is appropriate but Parade Gardens are open and the Parks Department has improved the long border which looks wonderful this May.
Mark Cassidy the Parks Department head says ‘The Parade Gardens is the best it’s looked for 25 years without a doubt, and this has been done by the selfless commitment of staff who endlessly try to make a difference.
The gardens are free to enter!
Bath in Bloom won’t be very active this year, except in our own gardens, – as the RHS has cancelled its regional and national competitions.
However, had the judges come I’m sure they would have contributed towards another  GOLD Award for the City.’
So say all of us Claire and well done to Mark and his hard-working staff for making all our parks bloom!
