Lovely light this morning as l set out to explore my usual daily walk into the nearby countryside.

I actually met a fellow walker who had got out of bed a little earlier than me. He was nearing the end of a thirty-kilometre stroll around Bath which started at 3.30 am!

These walks are allowing me to visit a rather dusty room l haven’t been in for a long time and that’s my head!
There’s an awful lot of talk about how all of this will change us for the better with less emphasis on making money and more concern for our environment and the way we live. But take a look at the images below!

It doesn’t augur well for the immediate future as l spotted evidence of fly-tipping and just careless littering along the roadside.

A little perturbed to see one flock of sheep – which l have greeted daily – has vanished. Maybe the farmer’s just moved them to another field! In fact – that’s been confirmed by Patsy Keen – who comments below!
On a happier note, l took a little more interest in the hedgerow and some of its inhabitants.
We are lucky enough to have this amazing rural treasure of a place on our doorstep.
I only publish these photos for the benefit of those who are not able to get out and enjoy exercising in it for themselves – whether that’s because of where they live or through a physical disability.
Inspiring in large part depressing in small(er) part ! Thak you Richard.

Richard the sheep were moved to another field on Friday. I saw them go past the church a lovely sight.
Thanks for that Patsy!
