It’s good to see Network Rail have finally arranged for the shrub and weed growth on Brunel’s historic railway retaining wall through Sydney Gardens to be cleared.

Bath Newseum has been calling for action for months as root growth threatened to dislodge stones which might fall onto a passing train.

I hear elsewhere on the line between Bath and Bristol they had a tree fall across the track which disrupted services for a while.
The main, and arguably most important, difference is that theyve managed to get rid of most of thise nast leaves . . .
?
Well done the men with courage and cutting tools

Glad they have now cleared the Sydney Gardens railway because I wrote to them asking for it to be done!
