Easter activities

Parents might like to cast an eye through a host of fun, hands-on activities over the Easter school holidays being organised at Bath & North East Somerset Council’s museums.

Here’s their press release in full:

“Create a wax resist picture inspired by Roman pots, search for virtual Roman coins, make a fashionable button brooch, or design a theatrical picture based on the Victoria Art Gallery’s Sharmanka Travelling Circus exhibition.

All activities are either free or included in the admission price. Admission is free for local Discovery Card holders. Discovery Cards can be obtained or renewed on the day (see www.bathnes.gov.uk/discoverycard).

Suitable for children aged three and over. Children must be accompanied by an adult. No need to book – just come along on the day.

Use wax crayons and a wax resist effect to create some amazing pot designs inspired by our collection of Roman pots.
