Bath Preservation Trust is on the look-out for volunteers who want to get involved in promoting some of the city’s history and heritage to our thousands of annual visitors.
They are holding an Open Day on Monday, January 28th at No 1 Royal Crescent.
In a press release the Trust says:
‘Come along to find out how you could get involved, whether in a museum or supporting our campaigning work. Are you looking to meet people, learn new skills or share your knowledge? Whether you can give us a regular day or half day each week, provide occasional cover or would prefer to drop in and help for the odd hour or two, we’ll have a role to suit you.

Pop in to No. 1 Royal Crescent between 10am and 1pm on Monday 28 January to meet our staff and volunteers and find out about the roles we have available. We can talk about your time commitments, the role profiles and training, and you can ask any questions you wish. Whether you like the idea of talking to visitors, delving into our archives, supporting events and children’s activities or being behind the scenes helping in the office, we will be able to find a place for you in our friendly team.

At the end of your visit, if you are interested in getting involved, we will provide you with an application form and a person to keep in contact with. Our friendly teams of staff and volunteers are looking forward to welcoming you.
If you are interested in volunteering with us but cannot make this date then please contact us on 01225 428126 or email ctyler@bptrust.org.uk
“Our volunteers are at the heart of everything we do. Whether they provide great visitor experiences or are involved in other activities, they are hugely appreciated and a great team to work alongside.”
