Hot foot from town with footage of this year’s Walcot Street lantern parade.
There was an array of large and small lanterns with the theme of Nutcracker Suite, and the procession also featured Walcot Choir and street artists Cirq Delight.
Little Big Horns brass band lead the procession from Walcot Gate to outside the Hilton Hotel.
It’s the second year a lantern parade has been held here in Bath’s Artisan Quarter and here’s hoping it continues to grow.
The street was closed to traffic for the procession and l have to say it was a wonderful sight. You could even hear birdsong.
Why can’t this be done across Bath at selected places – say for one Sunday a month for starters!!
