There aren’t many places in Bath you can have a free tinkle – but this is one of them. Well done the Piano Shop – top end of London Road – for putting some music into our Christmas Market.
They’ve teamed up with St Marys RC Primary School – by the look of it.
Meanwhile l see the Parks Department has re-turfed some of the central grassed section of Orange Grove.
The fact there is hoarding around the Abbey on the opposite side of the road means people have been crossing over as they feel there is more foot room and it’s safer.

That has worn away the grass and – as the hoarding is there for at least another year – l think the new turf won’t last that long either.
And, to complete this morning’s quick trip around the city centre, I hear work on the new Min – at the main RUH site – is going well and the unit should open by next July.
This means they will be clearing out of the historic Mineral Water Hospital building – in Upper Borough Walls – early next summer.
Word has it that the listed building – which l know was sold on again – is now destined to become luxury apartments.
