Never ones to miss an opportunity, Bath for Europe members drew applause from Christmas Market shoppers and rugby fans as they sang a range of alternative ‘Brexit/EU-themed’ carols this weekend outside Bath’s Guildhall.
Carols included lessor known classics such as, “The twelve days of Brexit”, “Hark, the EU Angels sing”, through to a contemporary version of “Ode to Joy” highlighting the peace and unity secured through EU membership.
As Brexit developments reach a critical stage on December 11th, Bath for Europe continues to press for a People’s Vote.
