Christmas family activities at the Roman Baths, Fashion Museum and Victoria Art Gallery

Children's activities at the Victoria Art Gallery, credit Bath & North East Somerset Council.

Families are invited to take part in a weekend of fun and festive activities at the Roman Baths, Fashion Museum and Victoria Art Gallery on Saturday 15 and Sunday 16 December.

Children can enjoy making trees decked with Roman coins, festive paper decorations, and embellished Christmas stockings, as well as looking around the three museums. All of the activities are free for local Discovery Card holders.

Just turn up – advance booking not required. Children must be accompanied by an adult. Suitable for children aged three and over.

Design a tree using a typical Roman leaf design and decorate it with gold coins.

Create paper pudding decorations for Christmas using a range of art papers, and explore the Gallery’s On Paperexhibition.

Look out for the Christmas tree in the Gallery foyer, organised each year by the Friends of the Gallery, which will be decorated with 1,000 gold, silver and white origami birds by artist Yoko Miura.
