Fans of Minerva’s Owls of Bath are being given the unique chance to own one of the spectacular sculptures when they are auctioned off for charity on Wednesday 17th October 2018.

The Owls of Bath sculpture trail delighted tens of thousands of Bath residents and visitors for three months over the summer.
Now 62 of the original masterpieces are to be auctioned at The Apex Hotel in Bath to raise money for four local charities – the Royal United Hospital Cancer Centre, Bath Young Carers Centre, Roman Baths Archway Project and UK Little Owl Project.
Tickets for the charity auction are still available at www.minervasowls.org/auction. The event will start with a reception at 6.15pm for final viewing of all the lots before the main auction at 7.45pm.
Alternatively, owl fans and collectors from around the world can bid phone in or bid online via www.theauctionroom.com, where the auction will be streamed live.
Owl bidding is expected to start in the region of £2,000, with some expected to raise considerably more. Work by Artists including Inkie, Richard Twose, Brian Grimwood, and Horrible Histories illustrator Martin Brown is featured amongst the lots available and are tipped to be of particular interest to collectors both nationwide and globally.

The evening will be hosted by Greg Ingham, CEO of Media Clash and chair of Creative Bath, whilst Addison Gelpey, star of Channel 5’s prime time series ‘Storage, Flog the Lot’, will be auctioning the owls.
Olympic Gold medallist Amy Williams MBE will assist Addison as he auctions some of the lots, including the owlet Amy has designed and decorated especially for the event.
