The London Road improvement works are getting underway today having been delayed by the bad weather.
The recent cold spell has also affected a number of gullies inbound along the A4 London Road, approaching Cleveland Place junction, and as a result, require urgent repairs to ensure they are completed in advance of the resurfacing works due to start on the evening of Monday 26th March.
To ensure the programme can catch up and the new road surface is not dug up again, it will be necessary to work on Saturday 24th March between the hours of 8.00am and 8.00pm.
B&NES says the Council is sorry for any inconvenience and will endeavour to keep noise disruption to a minimum.
