Tried something a bit different today – Wednesday, January 25th – when l am met up with Dave Mason of ‘Mentor Training’ for a Facebook ‘live’ session to discuss alternative online news.
Mentor – based in Bristol – describe themselves as ‘ media, crisis’ and presentation training specialists’ who help those in business to present themselves in the most effective way.
We chatted about how society is communicating via social media – enabling people to by-pass the ‘normal channels’ to get their message across.
Have views and values been weakened by instant and rapidly changing reactions to what is happening around us.
Who ‘controls’ the news? Are we all now commentators and experts on everything?
