A busy afternoon in Sydney Gardens in Bath where park-goers have been invited to have their say over what they would like to see in terms of improvements to this historic and not always public park.
The aim is to have an application in for Heritage Lottery funding later this year to be used towards improvements in regenerating this much-loved space.
The park used to be an exclusive Georgian pleasure garden – complete with adults swings, grotto and labyrinth – before starting a new role as a public park. Now its a case of how things might change to protect its heritage and secure its future.
