Seems like Bath’s recent exhibition of Industrial Heritage – held at the Bath City Football ground in Twerton – proved so successful that they are going to hold another one in September.
Organiser Bryan Chalker – who is a former councillor and Heritage Champion for B&NES – told the Bath Newseum:
“I am delighted to report that last Saturday’s Bath Industrial Heritage Exhibition (the 6th) was as great success and another is being planned for September.
It is hoped that we will be able to use the Bath City Football Club facility again, as it ticks all the necessary boxes where accessibility, space and parking are concerned.
These industrial heritage displays have, over the years, created a huge amount of public interest and are reminders of what this World Heritage Site once stood for in terms of manufacturing.
My sincere thanks to all exhibitors and members of the public for their loyal support.”

Well done Chalks. Like me you have that old fashioned “British Bulldog Spirit”
We’ll soon have a River/Canal based Heritage exhibition at Pulteney Weir.
