Grayson Perry’s tapestries aren’t the only things adorning the walls of Bath’s Victoria Art Gallery at present.

There’s a more intimate and free-to-view exhibition of oil paintings – by local artist Philip Bouchard – running alongside.
Called 52 Views of Bath this follows the success he had with his Bath Sky Diary exhibition in 2013.
For this new body of work, he focuses his gaze on the buildings, streets and green spaces below the horizon line.
The Virtual Museum had a chance to talk to him about his exhibition. I am afraid most of his work lies behind glass and was not too easy to photograph without reflections.
It’s better to come and see it for yourselves!
All works are for sale. The exhibition continues until February 21st. It is open Tuesday to Saturday from 10.00 to 5.00 and on Sunday from 1.30 to 5.00 pm.
