Pleased to hear from ex-Mayor of Bath and Councillor, Bryan Chalker that the city’s fifth Industrial Heritage Day – held recently at Bath City Football Club – was another winner.

Bryan says: ‘ I am delighted to report that yesterday’s event as another huge success, so a sixth is now planned for April 2016.
Among the new exhibitors were Combe Down Heritage Society, Ipswich Transport Museum, with a splendid model of the old Bath horse-drawn tram currently undergoing restoration, and Widcombe Antiques, who showed up with a trunk purporting to be from the Mayor of Bath’s Rolls-Royce, circa 1940-3.
I am now endeavouring to authenticate the Dunhill trunk, with a view to having it purchased and presented to the City.’
