The Bath Guildhall

From what l hear the meeting of the full B&NES Council at Bath’s Guildhall onThursday, September the 10th – was a lively and passionate affair which also broke a new record.

For the first time the number of people watching the Council’s live webcast from the comfort of their own homes passed the one thousand mark!

They would also have watched an elected representative from the Green group putting forward a motion calling on B&NES to deal with the problem of gulls – not by culling the birds – but by limiting the availability of food to them.

It seems the majority of council members agreed with him too as the motion was passed.

A couple of days ago, Cllr Jonathan Carr – the Green Party representative for Abbey Ward – explained what it was he was asking  the Council to agree to.
