Part-time students will be showcasing their creative talents with a four-day exhibition of their artwork.
Next week’s ’Taking Part’ show will feature an impressive variety of printmaking, sculpture, ceramics, fashion, textiles, jewellery, sculpture, photography and papermaking.

All the students displaying their work are studying Love2learn courses at City of Bath College and it will be the first time many of them have publicly showed their work.
The annual exhibition aims to give the part-time students the chance to show and sell their work in a professional gallery.
The show at 44AD ArtSpace on Abbey Street is open to the public from Thursday, February 26 to Sunday, March 1.
Sally Gaden, Printmaking leader at City of Bath College, said the exhibition was a celebration of the students’ hard work and commitment throughout the year.
She said: “The popular Love2learn Art and Design classes at City of Bath College provide rich and exciting opportunities for all.
“Beginners to advanced students work alongside one another, learning from inspirational and specialist staff to produce some amazing and original creative work.”
The Art and Design department at City of Bath College has an excellent reputation for producing artists and has been graded ‘outstanding’ in four consecutive Ofsted inspections.
Alongside its full-time courses, the Love2learn part-time programme encourages adults to learn something they’ve always wanted to learn with courses often held in the evening and on Saturdays to fit in with people’s busy lifestyles.
Courses on offer include Ceramics, Creative Writing, Digital Art and Design, Graphic Design, Interior Design, Sculpture and Book Binding.
The Art and Design department is also planning to increase its part-time offerings from September, to include The World History of Art, Homecrafts, Painting Bath’s Cityscape, Woodcarving and Sewing Machines For Beginners.
The Taking Part exhibition at 44AD ArtSpace is open from 1pm to 4pm on Thursday February 26, 11am to 4pm on Friday February 27, 10am-4pm on Saturday February 28 and 11am to 3pm on Sunday, March 1.
