These pictures were taken on my ‘phone on the way home from the city centre and at the top of the London Road – just after the turn into Cleveland Place – at around 5.45 pm on Sunday, January 11th.
All these cars are parked on the pavement and on a strip reserved for cyclists or ‘unloading only.’

A little further along the road out of town, workmen are now getting on well with re-surfacing the pavement – as part of ‘improvements’ to this section of the London Road.
A difference in colour and design in the new paving blocks being used indicates where a continuation of that ‘cycle-way’ will be. How long before that is covered in cars too?
This isn’t good enough B&NES.
