Good to see a new, brighter and more up-to-date notice board outside the Pump Rooms advertising the times of the regular daily walks given by member of the Mayor’s Corps of Honorary Guides.
This is a free walk around many of the city’s top architectural and historical attractions which costs nothing – and tipping is also politely declined.

Trained volunteers – who just happen to love Bath – have been offering this service in the city since 1934.
Walks are given every day – except Christmas Day – at 10.30 am and again at 2pm.
During the height of the summer season there are often specially themed walks and parties can be catered for.
