Spot the Bath locations as our World Heritage city features in a television screening of a two-part drama coming to C5 on Wednesday and Thursday – 27th & 28th August at 3.10.
It’s another Rosamund Pilcher adaptation – directed by Bath’s Giles Foster – filmed mainly in and around the city and made for the German tv market. Also look out for Neston Park, a quarry near Mere and lots of local Cotswolds scenery.
Called ‘The Other Wife’ it’s a sweeping drama in which a privileged woman’s world collapses around her when she learns of her husband’s double life and dubious business dealings. She must now confront the “other wife.”
Directed by Giles Foster, it features an all-star cast headed by Rupert Everett (The Importance of Being Earnest), Natalia Wörner (The Pillars of the Earth), Hans-Werner Meyer (Contergan) and John Hannah (Four Weddings and a Funeral).
