Bath’s latest alternative transport scheme for residents and tourists got underway with a special launch at the Orange Grove this week.
It’s one of the docking stations dotted around the city where you can now hire and return bicycles provided by a company called nextbike UK.
Our tourist status has to be a reason why the company – already across mainland Europe – has chosen Bath for it’s first UK launch.
I asked the company’s UK Managing Director what impact the bikes might have on traffic in our congested streets.
