The 786th Mayor of Bath, Councillor Malcolm Lees, is searching for his Citizen of the Year who must live in

Bath, work here or belong to a group based in the city.
If you know of anyone who deserves an award for their long-term voluntary work or a courageous act, please complete a nomination form, which is available online at www.mayorofbath.co.uk or from The Mayor’s Office in the Guildhall. It needs to be returned by 9.00am on Monday 7 April 2014.
Councillor Lees said, “I want hear about anyone who gives their time to improve the quality of life in Bath but my theme is Vulnerable People so I am particularly keen to recognise volunteers who give them support along with unsung heroes who have saved lives.”
Last year there were two Mayor’s Citizens: Dr Arnold Cooke, for his 25 years volunteering at Minerva Bath Rowing Club and Mr Philip Bryant who was Honorary Librarian for the Royal Bath and West of England Society for 25 years as well supporting Bath Rotary and the Mid-Somerset Festival along with the Silver Ring Choir as a founder-member.
