Larkhall residents asked to raise a glass to help keep their public loos!

Larkhall is not losing its loos after all. Under a new contract from Bath & N E Somerset Council, toilet operators Healthmatic are taking over the operation of the Councils toiletlarkhall looss in a few weeks time.

They have agreed to work with the council to help Lambridge Cllr Dave Laming deliver his idea of turning the Larkhall Square loo into a wine store and tasting room complete with integral public toilet.

Cllr Laming confirmed he and his colleague Cllr Bryan Chalker have been working with Cabinet member Cllr David Dixon on this proposal for many months and said “Like the residents of Lambridge I’m very relieved that we shall keep a toilet in our Square and at the same time gain an innovative retail asset.”

Cllr Dixon said “I fully support this great idea and I’m so pleased our new operators have agreed to carry this out. I am also confident in seeking some funding from Council to help make this happen.”
