Bath’s amazing Roman bathing complex is a top attraction for people visiting this World Heritage city but other than using their imagination there is no way of seeing what a bustling hub it must have been during the four hundred years this part of the country was under Empire rule.
The baths and museum are set out very well – in terms of visual information – but l thought you might like to view this BBC link to another Roman bathing complex – this time under a warmer African sun – which has never stopped being used!
Fascinating stuff.
