Following on from my gripe about bikes bearing advertising taking away precious spaces from genuine cyclists in Bath, l noticed this morning how many bikes were being chained to the railings outside the Guildhall.
It’s the place where a ‘token’ bike-stand is always half-filled with advertising bikes – one of which appears to be damaged?
Elsewhere in Stall Street l spotted a motorbike joining the bicycles at another cycle-park hub.
Come on B&NES. If you are serious about encouraging cyclists into our World Heritage city and want to encourage cars to move out – do something about this.
While you are changing the bye-laws to rid buskers of their amplifiers – maybe you’d like to define who exactly can park on a cycle hub.
