Champagne tasting and Georgian dancing are on offer for one night only at Bath‘s Fashion Museum this month.
To celebrate Museums at Night 2013, the popular attraction is offering special tours of its 50th anniversary exhibition “50 Fabulous Frocks” on Friday 17 May (6pm-8pm).
As part of the experience visitors can choose from either dancing with the Jane Austen dancers in the Assembly Rooms ballroom or taking part in Champagne tastings with a wine expert!
Councillor Cherry Beath (Lib-Dem, Combe Down), Cabinet Member for Sustainable Development, said: “This looks set to be a truly magnificent evening, combining our display of 50 Fabulous Frocks with the romance of a Jane Austen social gathering or the luxury of tasting fine Champagne.
“We hope our residents and visitors alike to take advantage of this special opportunity to check out Bath & North East Somerset Council’s Fashion Museum, along with the wide range of events happening at other local heritage attractions, for Museums at Night 2013.”
