Great Pulteney Street has to be one of the architectural Georgian gems of our World Heritage city. It certainly is one of our most photographed avenues of Bath stone when it comes to the thousands of tourist visitors who go to see it.

So sad to see the litter bin at the top end of the street – across the road from the Holbourne Museum – overflowing with rubbish. Much of it has been pecked at by seagulls and blown over the pavements.

This is not a good thing for tourists to pick their way through.

Nor should they be spotting the rubbish lining the edge of Sydney Gardens near the wall alongside Sydney Place. Clean your act up Bath. This is not the sort of first impression you want your visitors to take home.
