Not so pretty is it? I wasn’t the only one who noticed this sorry sight yesterday.
With Bath in Bloom judging due this July, Colin Webb writes about the trough alongside the bench which was presented by Cllr June Player.
“I’m sure you pass through Northumberland Place frequently. Isn’t the attached a disgrace? I’ve sent this email* below to Cllr June Player but I’m sure they would listen to you rather than to me. Judging scheduled from 27th July.”

* “Hope all is well with you. Sorry to bother you yet again but I thought you should know that your tribute trough in Northumberland Place is once again looking dreadful as attached.
With spring now upon us surely it is possible for someone at B&NES to sort this out once and for all – even removing it would be better than leaving it as it is.
It is an embarrassment for the city and certainly even more for your good name to be associated with it. “
I am never sure if it’s the Parks Department or Bath BID who look after that stretch but l am sure this posting will get noticed.
