With the warmer days approaching, we want to encourage Bathonians to come out to play!
Croquet has been played in Bath for over 130 years.
Bath’s annual croquet tournament was held on the Recreation Ground in 1898, and open tournaments took place there each year until 1938. Bath Croquet Club celebrates its 50th anniversary this year, having been refounded in 1976.
Do come along to one of our Open Days being held in April, details below, to try your hand at this ever-popular sport.
We provide all equipment for participants to engage in a sport that is most enjoyable, whilst maintaining a competitive edge. It is a sport for everyone (men and women play on equal terms), skill and tactics are key, with the added bonus that it’s good for your health!”
