Popped into the Shire’s Yard complex – just off Milsom Street – this morning to catch up with the new exhibition, which has opened today at Sandra Higgin’s contemporary art gallery.
To quote from her Instagram account: ‘The Wilderness Art Collective and Sandra Higgins Art present “Under the Same Sky”, the first of three exhibitions taking place across 2026 under a shared and expansive theme.
This new exhibition reflects on the idea that all life exists beneath the same sky, a unifying presence that connects us across place, culture and experience.
Artists have responded freely to the title, resulting in a rich and varied exhibition rooted in the natural world.
I was able to chat with Sandra, and also with Luke M Walker – artist and co-founder of The Wilderness Art Collective.
