Polly van Lawick writes: ‘I am attaching a flyer for our coming event at the Abbey Hotel, on Saturday, to support the Pilgrimage 4 Palestine in aid of the Hands Up Project, in case this is something you were happy to share.

It will be an evening of poetry and song with performers including, amongst others, singer Pete Josef, award-winning author Max Porter, and playwright Peter Oswald.

The pilgrimage itself is a 16-day cross-border walk to promote unity between communities, to stand firmly against racism, Islamophobia, anti-semitism and all forms of hate.

It began this week in the mountains of Southern Spain, and sets off on the UK leg from Bristol on 7 th March, and finishes in Parliament Square on 22 nd March.

People are invited to join the pilgrimage on any leg of the journey and can register via www.pilgrimage4palestine.co.uk. NB The Bath to Bradford on Avon stretch sets off on Sunday, 8th March
