Here we go

Doesn’t take long, does it? Only weeks after M & S moved into Southgate, those who seek to deface our city are quick to get to work on the exterior of the old store.

I have always regarded ‘tagging’ as the human equivalent of a dog leaving its watery scent on physical objects along its way. It certainly doesn’t qualify as street art.

Meanwhile, while we speculate as to who might move into the old store, what about considering flats installed above the ground floor, divided up for smaller businesses?

Or maybe it would make a good city-centre Travelodge?
