[Sandra Higgins – outside her new Shire’s Yard Gallery]
A mural for Bath? An exhibition of sculpture along the River Avon?
Just two of the ideas being floated by art curator and gallery owner Sandra Higgins, who is on a local mission to promote contemporary art across the city.
She’s organising “a party you do not want to miss” at her new and bigger art space in Shire’s Yard – just off Milsom Street.
This coming Saturday, she is co-hosting – with Iasonas Bakas of Art Circle Bath – a get-together of fine artists and art supporters to talk about a more positive and prominent future for contemporary work.
I went along to see her in her new art space within Shire’s Yard.
