“My pal Nick Steel, with his Bath Comedy Festival hat on, is currently at Edinburgh Fringe scouting for talent with which to entertain the folks back home over the coming months.
He reports that things are finally back to normal after the Covid years, with every possible space, square, tent and redundant church heaving with excited punters and myriad shows.
The photo shows a somewhat over-the-top way of bringing attention to one’s venue!
And to think I had my modest little banner advertising the children’s comedy shows removed from the railings in Widcombe!”
