Down to Earth

If l have said it once, l have said it a hundred times, the Bath Royal (Scientific and Literary Institution) is the unofficial city museum!

It has an amazing and various collection of artefacts in its store room from which it can pull treasures from time to time to exhibit on the ground floor of its Queen Square premises.

This year’s summer exhibition is Riches of the Earth and showcases some of the beautiful earth minerals in its own collections.

There is a three talk series accompanying the exhibition which will uncover the importance of rare earth minerals, both in history and in the creation of new greener technologies.
