“Laura Place fountain is looking rather forlorn following its refurbishment, mostly covered in thick dark algae – except for some of the newer replacement stonework.
It’s curious that the newer stone doesn’t seem to be as attractive to algae growth than the older stone. Does anyone know why this might be the case?
Is the Council going to give the stonework a scrub anytime soon?”
