Am hearing that Bath has won Gold in the Southwest in Bloom ‘Champion of Champions’ category.
Southgate Shopping Centre won the best commercial category, Bath’s parks department won the best municipal display category, and the Friends of the RUH were nominated as the best ‘It’s Your Neighbourhood’ entry.
The Griffin Inn won Silver Gilt and there were Gold medals for Milsom Place, the Inn at Freshford and the Old Crown at Kelston.
In the children’s painting competition, Rose from Weston All Saints won a Highly Commended.
